Emotions

The Emotions collection consists of five glass Christmas ornaments created through a remediation process. The pieces emerged from carefully crafted prompts, curatorial selection, and subsequent AI model fine‑tuning, which together led to final designs suitable for glassmaking. Their aesthetic draws on Bauhaus principles of geometric clarity, simplicity, and the fusion of art and craft, and each ornament depicts a stylized face expressing a different emotion. The contrast between these emotional motifs and the fact that AI has no emotions of its own adds a layer of paradoxical poetry to the project. The ornaments were created for the 2^nd International Symposium of Christmas Ornaments in collaboration with the State Museum of Glass and Jewellery in Jablonec nad Nisou and Slezská tvorba Opava.
